Pages are age toned with some foxing. Frontispiece is a black-and-white illustration of Giovanni Pierluigi with tissue guard.

Spine is slanted. Author's address stamp on verso of half title page. Pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. The dust jacket is very worn, with numerous small chips and tears. "....intended for the experienced teacher of singing." Contents include Fusions, Simple Fusions, Complex Fusions, Patterns for Consonants, Inhaling and Exhaling, and more. Ms. Metzger was the Children's Chorus Master for the Lyric Opera of Chicago in the 1950's.
