Full leather, frayed at edges, beginning to peel, with several pieces missing. Leather completely absent at spine - spine is covered with black electrical? tape. Front hinge broken, rear hinge also covered with black tape. Light foxing and staining throughout. Several pages with corners turned down. Two of the pages have a 1" tear. There are 43 plates containing illustrations numbered 1-108. The second plate contains illustrations numbered 2-4, but there a blank space beside #2. The fold-out plates are labelled rather oddly - the first is labelled 19 & 20, with a 45 next to the illustration. The second is labelled 45 & 46, with no other numbers next to the illustration. I believe all the plates are present. The numbering is consecutive (1-108) except for the blank space next to #2 and the odd numbering on the plates.
